Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox born December 25, 1954, Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother as is Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox was accepted to the Royal Academy of Music in London in the 70s, where she learned the flute piano as well as the harpsichord for three consecutive years. She managed to make it on her student stipend as she worked part-time. Lennox as she was studying in the Royal Academy of Music in London, was not happy about her performances compared to that of her classmates. She started to think about alternatives. Lennox joined a group called Dragons Playground as the flute player in the year 1976. She quit the band before New Faces, the I.T.V. talent contest. She was the main vocalist of The Tourists a British pop band from 1977 to the year 1980. This is where she first came across Dave Stewart with whom she will form the pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox began work on Diva in 1992. This was her first solo album. It became a huge critical and commercial success. Nostalgia Lennoxs six solo album, released in October 2014 was Nostalgia Lennox. The C.D. Lennox compiled her top soul jazz blues tracks from childhood. Lepidoptera is a collection of four piano improvisations, was released by Lennox in May 2019. The E.P. is an accompanying piece of her artwork in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art titled"Now, I'll let You go... It's the first time she has released an independent album. Annie Lennox was born in 1954 on December 25. She is an activist, philanthropist as well as a performer. The Tourists had a minor popularity in the latter part of the 1970s. Lennox as well as Dave Stewart, a fellow musician, went on to become famous internationally in the 1990s when they formed the Eurythmics.
