Ali Landry Monteverde

Ali Landry was an American actress and model who brought on the Miss USA title in 1996. Her mom named her for the actress Ali MacGraw after she watched her 1970 film 'Love Story'. She is from French (Cajun) descent and was raised in Cecilia, Louisiana, where she attended Cecilia High School. While in high school she was on the team that coached the cheerleading team, and earned the title of 'Miss Louisiana Teen USA. At the time, she was 17 years old. After that, she took home the 1996 Miss Louisiana USA' and stepped into limelight after winning the title of Miss USA. In 1997, she made her debut as an actor in the television series "Clueless". The show's popularity skyrocketed as she became "the Doritos Girl" by playing in the 'Doritos' commercial broadcast during the 1998 Super Bowl. Her debut film was the film 'Beautiful', which was released in 2000. Over the next few years she starred in a range of shows and movies.
